The series of AC Kontaktors are versatile switching devices designed for broad application in electrical control circuits. These reliable products are suitable for use in alternating current circuits with a frequency of 50Hz and a rated operational voltage up to 660V, handling rated operational currents up to 95A (for 3-phase systems ≤440V). Their primary function is to facilitate the remote connection and disconnection of electrical circuits. Furthermore, these products are also well-suited for the frequent starting and stopping of AC motors. When operated at an appropriately reduced working current (corresponding to utilization category AC-4), they can additionally be employed for demanding duties such as the plugging, reverse starting, and frequent switching of squirrel-cage motors. For enhanced system protection, when combined with a thermal overload relay, these products can also help safeguard circuits that may experience operational overload conditions. To ensure optimal performance and service life, the AC Kontaktor must be installed and operated within the following standard working conditions: a) Ambient air temperature: the upper limit is +40°C, the average value over 24 hours should be ≤+35°C, and the lower limit is ≥-5°C. b) Altitude: the installation site should not be located above 2000m. c) Air relative humidity: at a temperature of +40°C, the relative humidity should not exceed 50%. The average minimum temperature of the wettest month should not exceed +25°C, and that month's average maximum relative humidity should not exceed 90%. d) Pollution degree: 3. e) Installation category: III. f) Shock and vibration: The product should be installed in a location without significant shaking, impact, or vibration. g) Installation condition: The inclination of the contactor's mounting surface relative to the vertical plane must not be greater than 5°.
