As a vital switch gear parts, the CJ19C contactor is a dedicated component specifically engineered for making and breaking low-voltage shunt capacitors. It plays an essential role within the broader ecosystem of automatic compensation reactive power compensation equipment. This reliable product is designed for integration into AC power systems with a frequency of 50Hz and a rated operational voltage up to 380V, where it performs the crucial function of switching capacitor loads up to 90kvar to achieve optimal power factor correction. Its construction adopts a practical, modular approach typical of advanced switchgear. Notably, its resistor circuit-arranged in three distinct paths-is mounted above the main power circuit module. The main contacts are designed with rational geometry for dependable solo load operation. To ensure seamless performance and integration as a switch gear parts, it must be applied in accordance with the following standard working and installation specifications: a) The ambient air temperature should be maintained between -5°C and +40°C, with the average over a 24-hour period not exceeding +35°C. b) The altitude at the installation point must not surpass 2000 meters. c) Humidity parameters require that at an air temperature of +40°C, the relative humidity does not exceed 50%. Additionally, the monthly average minimum temperature for the wettest month should be ≤+25°C, and that month's average maximum relative humidity should be ≤90%. d)

It is suitable for environments with a pollution degree rating of 3. e) Its installation category is classified as III. f) It must be installed in a location free from pronounced shaking, impact, or vibration. g) The mounting surface of this product should have an inclination no greater than 5° from the vertical. The functional principle, illustrated in Figure 1, underscores its design sophistication. The schematic above the dotted line details the capacitor switching circuitry, while the area below shows the parallel capacitor bank. An integral resistor switching circuit, featuring early-make contacts in series with resistors, is the first to activate upon coil energization. This allows the initial capacitor charging current to be safely limited by the resistors, thereby suppressing the switch-on inrush current. Following this controlled engagement, the main contacts close to carry the full capacitive load. A key durability feature of this switch gear parts is the automatic disconnection and reset of the resistor circuit once its inrush suppression role is complete. This significantly lowers the risk of resistor damage during capacitor cutoff, enhancing the overall reliability and longevity of the switchgear assembly and contributing to a more stable and efficient power distribution network.

The CJ19C-170 contactor has one auxiliary contact, available in two combinations; auxiliary contact combinations are shown in Table 1. Auxiliary modules can be installed on both sides of the contactor to increase the number of auxiliary contacts.

Two types of auxiliary modules are available:

LA8-DN11 (one normally open and one normally closed)

LA8-DN20 (two normally open); selected by the user when ordering.

Appearance and Installation Dimensions:

The CJ19C-170 contactor can be installed with M6 screws and lock washers, or with two 35mm mounting rails, with a center distance of 105mm between the two rails. The appearance and installation dimensions of the CJ19C-170 are shown in Figure 5.
