These products are engineered for AC circuits with a frequency of 50Hz and a rated operational voltage up to 660V, capable of managing rated currents up to 95A (for 3-phase systems ≤440V). They serve the fundamental role of enabling remote connection and disconnection of power circuits. Additionally, their design makes them highly suitable for applications involving the frequent control of AC motors. When configured to operate at a reduced working current (utilization category AC-4), these Programmable Contactors can also be deployed for more rigorous duties such as the plugging, reversing, and inching operations of squirrel-cage motors. To build a comprehensive protective system, these products can be seamlessly combined with thermal overload relays, offering an added layer of defense against operational overcurrent conditions that could lead to equipment failure. The reliable operation of any Programmable Contactor is contingent upon installation within its specified environmental parameters: a) Ambient air temperature limits are -5°C to +40°C, with a 24-hour average not exceeding +35°C. b) Maximum installation altitude is 2000m. c) Relative humidity at +40°C should be ≤50%. The wettest month's average minimum temperature is ≤+25°C, and its average maximum relative humidity is ≤90%. d) The device is rated for pollution degree 3 environments. e) It falls under installation category III. f) Installation must be on a stable surface without notable shaking, impact, or vibration. g) The permissible mounting tilt relative to vertical is ≤5°. With their inherent adaptability and robust construction, these products offer a future-proof solution for automated systems requiring reliable, intelligent, and configurable switching capabilities.
