The working principle of an AC contactor is based on the combination of electromagnetic force and spring force to achieve the connection and disconnection of contacts. An AC contactor has two operating states: de-energized state (released state) and energized state (operating state). When the attraction coil is energized, the stationary iron core generates an electromagnetic attraction force, attracting the armature. The connecting rod connected to the armature drives the contacts to operate, energizing the normally closed contacts. When the attraction coil is de-energized, the electromagnetic attraction force disappears, the armature reopens, closing the normally open contacts. The contacts are then released under the action of the spring, and all contacts return to their original positions, returning the contactor to the de-energized state.
