Model Meaning
The Automatic Power Factor Controller is an intelligent device dedicated to optimizing electrical system efficiency by dynamically controlling capacitor banks. Its comprehensive functional features define its performance. This product employs reactive power calculation to determine the exact capacitor capacity needed for switching, resulting in high compensation accuracy. It achieves precise measurement of the power factor and offers a wide range for display. An automatic phase identification function is built-in to ensure voltage and current signals are correctly matched in phase. The product provides two operational paradigms: a hassle-free Fully Automatic mode and a detailed Manual Setting mode. Its human-machine interface is crafted to be friendly and straightforward for operators. Every control parameter is fully digital and adjustable, ensuring an intuitive and user-friendly setup process. The unit supports two working methods: Automatic operation and Manual operation for testing or specific control needs. It is equipped with protective functions for both over-voltage and under-voltage scenarios. A power-fail protection feature safeguards all programmed data from being lost. Additionally, the product features an extremely low current signal input impedance of ≤0.01Ω. Exploring its Work Modes reveals the adaptability of the Automatic Power Factor Controller. The Fully Automatic mode is the out-of-the-box configuration. In this mode, the product arrives with all parameters pre-configured in an optimal manner. The user's responsibility is simply to wire it correctly; thereafter, it operates effectively without requiring further adjustments. The Manual Setting mode is designed for precision, giving users exact control over the switching of capacitor groups to prevent any form of switching oscillation.
This capability makes the Automatic Power Factor Controller suitable for all environmental conditions, especially those where the electrical load is light and the installed capacitor capacity is large. For dependable and long-term operation of your product, adhere to these normal working and installation conditions:
- 1) The installation site altitude must not be higher than 2500 meters;
- 2) The ambient operating temperature should be kept between -25℃ and +50℃;
- 3) Air humidity levels must not exceed 50% at a temperature of 40℃, nor 90% at 20℃;
- 4) The surrounding atmosphere should be free from corrosive gases, conductive dust, and any flammable or explosive media;
- 5) The chosen location for mounting must be free from severe vibration or constant mechanical disturbance.

Wiring Method (See Wiring Diagram)

1. The controller's operating voltage and current can be connected to phase BC voltage and phase A current; phase AB voltage and phase C current; phase AC voltage and phase B current.
2. The sampling currents la and ln must be taken from the total load (main cabinet) current line, and must not be taken from the capacitor bank.
3. The voltage at the controller's output terminals 1-12 is the same as that at terminal V(Us).
