Model Meaning
The Capacitor Switching Controller is a dedicated unit designed to intelligently manage the connection and disconnection of capacitor banks in reactive power compensation systems. Its standout functional features ensure efficient and stable operation. This product utilizes reactive power as the primary metric for calculating the required capacitor switching capacity, which guarantees high precision in compensation. It delivers accurate power factor measurement across a wide display range. An integrated automatic phase identification function ensures correct alignment by keeping voltage and current signals in phase. The product provides two versatile work modes: Fully Automatic for set-and-forget operation and Manual Setting for customized control. Its human-machine interface is user-friendly and designed for easy operation. All essential control parameters are fully digitized and adjustable, offering an intuitive and convenient setup process. This product functions in two ways: via Automatic Run or Manual Run. It is equipped with protective functions against both over-voltage and under-voltage conditions. A power-down protection feature preserves all configured data, preventing loss during outages. Additionally, it boasts a very low current signal input impedance of ≤0.01Ω. The Work Modes of the Capacitor Switching Controller are designed for adaptability. The Fully Automatic mode is the pre-configured default from the factory. In this state, the product has all its parameters set optimally, requiring only correct electrical wiring to begin functioning properly-no further user configuration is necessary. The Manual Setting mode provides the user with exacting control over the switching of capacitor groups, a feature engineered to prevent any switching oscillations.
This makes the Capacitor Switching Controller exceptionally suitable for all operational environments, and particularly ideal for challenging scenarios where electrical loads are light and the connected capacitor banks are of large capacity. For reliable and long-lasting performance, install the product according to these normal working and installation conditions:
- 1) The installation altitude should not exceed 2500 meters;
- 2) The ambient temperature must be maintained between -25℃ and +50℃;
- 3) Air humidity levels should not surpass 50% at 40℃ or 90% at 20℃;
- 4) The surrounding environment must be devoid of corrosive gases, conductive dust, and any flammable or explosive media;
- 5) The chosen mounting location should be free from severe vibration or sustained shaking.

Wiring Method (See Wiring Diagram)

1. The controller's operating voltage and current can be connected to phase BC voltage and phase A current; phase AB voltage and phase C current; phase AC voltage and phase B current.
2. The sampling currents la and ln must be taken from the total load (main cabinet) current line, and must not be taken from the capacitor bank.
3. The voltage at the controller's output terminals 1-12 is the same as that at terminal V(Us).
